The "Front Row", fashion's seat of power and influence is one of the most sought after items in the fashion world ( yes, even more sought after than Balmain or Versace).
Many people outside the fashion world may not seem to know what the front row really means but trust those in the fashion world to stumble over each other to get front row invites to fashion shows.
More than anything, the front row or " frow' as referred to it by bloggers is a symbol of status and importance in the fashion world.
The front row is usually reserved for relevant people in the fashion world example Anna Wintour of US Vogue or Alexandra Shulman of the British Vogue. In Nigeria, its usually reserved for fashion bloggers and influencers like Denola Grey, Idia Aisien.
The front row, is arranged by designers' publicists and is as hierarchical as the British monarch system.
The front row is a statement, to yourself and to everyone else as to how important you are or how relevant the designers sees you or your publication.
The front row has come to be more controversial over the years with the introduction of celebrity listings in front row line up.
This trend sees celebrities being paid fat sums of money by designers just to sit front row at their show.
To these designers, it is a symbol of importance and credibility to have these celebrities in their shows.
Anyway, sitting front row at a fashion show is every fashion intern's dream and every fashion editor's reality (depending on the relevance of your publication that is..)
I guess we'll never know what the rave about the front row is..All that hassle just for a seat??
Yeah right! Who am I kidding? "I want me some front row!!" Lol!

T. I Nathan 'Soliloquy' collection
As valentine draws nearer, I can't help but muse on T. I Nathan's SS16 collection.
The collection which is themed 'Soliloquy' is a very artistic collection. The colour scheme of Red and Black evokes this dark feeling from a romantic vampire movie.. Yes!, complete with blood. It has the looks of a 'valentines day gone wrong' movie costuming.
The Soliloquy collection is and art that Expression both love and heartbreak. It takes these two ironical factors and blends them into one to form the perfect muse.
With lots of red roses, dark sheer velvets, red mesh fabrics and oh dear Lord!... That blood stained shirt! (which happens to be my personal favourite), T. I Nathan's Soliloquy collection doesn't fall short of the designer's past glory.
T. I. Nathan who is known for his outrageous but irresistible designs came aboard the fashion scene after his team won the maiden edition of the Fayrouz L'original Expression.
His designs have been described as being 'dark with a twist'. And the 'Soliloquy' collection is just another expression of his dark side.
The collection is nothing short of 'draculan glory'.
